"Insurance buyer beware scams of State Farm Car Insurance ! I called for quote for my 2021 Subaru two months before my present insurance would expire. I spoke with Representative Dillon, we discussed my insurance needs, my information requirements for the quote, which included my voluntary driver safety course and was given a quote. I explained to Dillon I did not need insurance until the beginning of November, almost 2 months away, and if this quote would change at all in the interim. Dillon said the quote he was giving me would be the same, no changes would be made, everything is set. In November I signed with State Farm to insure my vehicle. No changes to the quote from September, no additional information was needed or discussed or questioned. However, roughly 5 weeks later and right before Christmas, I was just back from holiday, I’m receiving texts and emails for the need to have a certificate of proof for a driver safety program I voluntarily took a few years back to “ keep my discount “, AND now they needed one for my husband, who is not on my policy, nor does he drive my car, which was discussed in September. I wrote back I would provide my certificate . Since then, I’ve received bills in email formate and continuous,numerous texts, in a threatening nature to pay this extra bill. State Farm also sent me “ beacons” for my car, another aspect we never discussed! Mind you, in November I paid my insurance with the Representative Dillon on the phone, which also was cleared thru my bank. Here it is, the day after Christmas and they are still sending me bills and no explanation! I will most definitely be looking elsewhere for my insurance needs! Shame on this insurance company and their representatives! I’m a Retired Registered Nurse & been driving for over 50 years and insuring my car without any of the above hassles, I haven’t had any accidents, nor tickets in these 50 years either! A clean as spit driving record and I’m being hassled like this! I could not imagine the hassling, miscommunications and mismanagement, I would surely encounter if I would really need their help if a claim was involved! I may have to take this yet further to the Better Business Bureau, etc. Be careful who you insure with! And stay far away from State Farm!"

"Earlier this year, I reluctantly made a switch from my personal GEICO car insurance policy to my husband’s StateFarm policy after my GEICO rates continued to climb to an unreasonable amount despite my near perfect driving history. We’ve dealt with a number of StateFarm agents over the years (both with regard to our vehicles and our home) and had more than a few hiccups and frustrations, so I was not looking forward to having my car under this policy. In the beginning, I was right—while it was a lot cheaper to bundle with them, customer service was a bit of a nightmare. So when it came time for me to add a new vehicle to the policy this week and remove my old vehicle, you can imagine my dread over the call. I was gearing up to fight/advocate for myself as usual, knowing that I’d have to rehash old things that still needed fixing in addition to making sure that new things were handled correctly, and thinking I’d get the runaround again. (Note: as a millennial who’s spent a significant amount of time in both customer service and call center positions, I was still very polite, but I was definitely guarded, and I’m certain that my worry was apparent.) Josephine and her coworker, Crys, proved me wrong in my assumptions and were exceedingly patient and helpful. After Josephine had already received my frantic texts and spoken to my irritated spouse, Crys took my panicked last-minute call right before closing yesterday, graciously assisted me in scheduling a call for this morning, and sent a follow-up email with details. Josephine called me right on time, actively listened, fully read and understood the time-sensitive nature of my new issue, addressed of all of my various bullet points appropriately, updated our information correctly, provided clear and concise explanations to my coverage questions, and communicated with knowledge, empathy, and care. Give these two fantastic employees/humans immediate raises, Kristina. Please and thanks."

"Dillon took the time to walk me through the differences in my coverages between my former provider and what State Farm was able to provide. He was able to save me money each month and increase my coverages. He was very thorough, kind and answered each and every question I had, no matter how ridiculous it seemed. "I was shopping for an auto insurance and was looking to bundle it with my pre-existing rental insurance with State farm and was connected with Erika. After we talked about what i was looking for, she recognized my confusions with some of the policy terms and was very patient in explaining what each policy means.
